I live in upstate NY and I have found when I say I live in NY they always think about NYC....a lot of people don't realize that a lot of upstate NY is country living...with mountains, lakes, just beautiful country.

It used to be the New Years Eve countdown at Times Square, with the ball dropping and all. Since September 11, 2001 it is an image of people jumping from burning high rise buildings due to a sect of assholes not agreeing with our lifestyle. Those jerks took much more than life and property that day.

Joe Namath, Frank Sinatra, The statue of Liberty, taxi cabs, and some great people in general who get a bad rap sometimes. When traveling, some of the nicest people I've ever encountered were in New York City, including the police.
