  • I don't know if you will think this is an easy way to remove excess hair from the roller brush of a vacuum, but this is how I do it. My daughters and I have long hair and it seems like we shed worse than our pets. To remove excess hair that accumulates on the vacuum roller bar I remove the roller (if you can't on your model, then sit on the floor and lay it on its side), then I use a wide tooth comb and try to "comb" it off. Sometimes all I can do is loosen it and at that point I use a pair of scissors to cut the hair where it is wrapped around, being careful not to damage any bristles or the roller. The excess hair pulls free easily at that point.
  • I make sure mine is unplugged then I slice it off with a scissor or steak knife. It's amazing I am not bald yet.
  • run a pencil down the space between the bristles. pull the pencil up, and then the hair is loose.
  • Yes their is an easy way. Take the roller out of the vacuum and use a 5 inch or 6 inch diameter soft wire brush on your bench grinder. The job will be done in less than 30 seconds. Hub
