Yes, many times, when I was younger. At one time, even with my Hubby and I both working, we didn't make enough money to get ahead. That is no longer true.
-
I did early in my career. It is both a gift and a curse to have credit cards (they've helped me through some food shopping days), and I'm literally paying for that now (with my aggressive pay-off plan, it will be May/Jun '08 to be debt free, yay!). It makes you learn to live on or below your means, instead of above your means.

currently no,ever yes.
-
Since I started working, yes.

*Sighs* Getting ready to go back to school...AGAIN! I long for the day that I don't have to live paycheck to paycheck.
-
Fixed income--yes
-
No. As a child, I saved most of the money I was given, and have kept that as a "buffer" even when things were tight, never spending more than I made. At this point, we live on what we make, but there is ALWAYS extra money in the bank and savings places.

Everyday, man.everyday.

I sure am and have been for quite some time now. I'm deep in debt that I used to be able to handle and was paying off. Now that I've gone from a two income household where both worked good jobs to a one income with a job that pays almost nothing I can barely pay the nessesities let alone the debts. And everywhere I've turned to for help I've been turned away.

I do that every week!
-
Yep. Many times. When I was younger, it was a hard struggle. I fought hard to keep from having to fall back on parents. Been on unemployment for a while a couple of times. You do without a lot that many take for granted. Over time, things got better. Much better. I own my own home, free and clear. Everything I own is paid for. No debts. I don't even use a credit card. This didn't happen soon. It took a lot of working and scrimping. And I don't have the highest paying of jobs. But, I stuck with it. Just never get discouraged and use some common sense in your life-style.

I've never not lived like that.
-
All my working life!

I do now! :o(

Right now!

Most of my life.......

It's awesome, and I don't even have a proper pay check - get one massive one every semester and have to figure out how to live.
-
yeah, we do now. but we're slowly working towards not spending our extra money whenever we have it.
-
Most of my life. A few years back when I lived with my then g/f, we both worked, and while we didn't rake in the bucks, we didn't live paycheck to paycheck, but not far off.
-
for more of my adult life than not.
-
No :)

that wouldnt bother me so much , what i found worse is living with no paychecks coming in at all, I literally went to school so i could live on grants but it was like getting paid every 5 months, but thanks to the construction guys outside my window i couldnt study at all at home and ending up flunking out, so no more grants now, i did apply for adult financial which is money they give you while youre applying for ssi and got that right after, i get foodstamps and medicaid too now
