"Throwing Bullets" a book about 2 minor league baseball pitchers who had different levels of success. It interested me because both pitchers played for a local minor league team andI met both of them. I also met the author and had him autograph the book.

In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson... part hilarious, roll-on-the-floor-laughing-with-tears-in-your-eyes funny travel monolougue about driving across Australia, part short history of the country, all interwoven together to form a compulsively readable, hysterical novel. the funniest thing I've ever seen or read in my life.
