All my Nokias have used the same sim cards, it depends if you are on the same server.

IF YOUR ARE ON CONTRACT WITH att CAN'T YOU JUST MOVE THE SIM CARD INTO A NEW PHONE AND KEEP GOING?

It will only work if the N75 is unlocked for any sim card, or locked to the phone carrier you are currently using (eg. Tmobile, Verizon, Optus, Vodafone.) If it is not, it will not work and you will need to pay to have it unlocked.
