• Kurds are not inhabitants of a certain country, they are an ethnic group. They live mainly around Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Syria etc.
  • They are an ethnic group that live in northern Iraq. The region is called Kurdastan, thus they are called Kurds. They wan't to separate from Iraq and become an independant country.
