  • I don't remember a time without it around me. My parents played a lot of music and since we did so many things back then as a family together, the three of us, I heard it often. I even listened to it, my choice, while doing homework or for doing housework and chores. I still love it and play it on the piano. I am very fond of classical piano music. I grew up in the 50s and 60s and music back then just wasn't so labeled and put into boxes for this person or that person. We listened to all music. Rock, folk, country, French music, classical, gypsy, jazz. It was all just great music.

  • When I was about 15. A harp concert by Händel, played by Nicanor Zabaleta did the trick.
  • I was in elementary school, probably 9 or 10... it was around the time I started taking piano lessons and the first cd of classical music that I ever got was of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas. And then it exploded from there and now classical music fills the majority of my music library.
