  • I think it's great that you're applying for a job there! I worked at Wendy's when I was sixteen and it was an excellent experience. At the interview, try not to be nervous. Think of it as a conversation you're having with another human being (which it is!) Answer the interviewers questions enthusiastically, and come up with a few of your own to indicate your interest in getting the job. Also emphasize your sense of responsibility and reliability. You'll do fine! The job itself is okay, but the pride you'll feel from making your own money will make it even better!! (Oh, and just a tip- it's spelled McDonalds;)
  • Hello Zoan: Did you get the job at McDonald's? I knew a young man who worked at McDonald's for 3 years. When he graduated from High School he went into auto mechanics and hates that more than MdDonalds.
  • I think it's a great idea. My first job at 16 was in a dairy store. I was paid 65 cents an hour (half of the current minimum wage) and worked 8 hours 4 days a week. McDonalds is a giant step up. You'll learn to deal with the public, make some decent money, and learn about the real world. Good for you!
  • I avoid McDonalds so the only advice I can give you is if you get the job, make a promise to yourself to always go to work on a full stomach and not hungry, thereby decreasing the possibility of eating anything you might find there.
