If you give points to the people who ask questions that you answer, do you give points when you answer the question, or wait until you see whether or not it looks like they gave you points?

If I forget to give them points up front I do it when they comment. But I usually remember.

I give some points if someone takes the trouble to answer, I give more points if the answer is particularly enlightening or entertaining.

I always do it after I answer...there are so many who do not even bother to answer or point up or down. That drives me crazy! But I still point up anyway:)

I usually always give them points cause usually I don't answer it unless I think its a worthwhile question and therefore it obviously deserves points whether they like my answer or give me points for my answer.

I give points if I answer a question. I don't really spend too much time worrying about them. In fact, I kind of hand them out willy nilly. Call me a bad ABer but unless I can cash them in for a Porshe or new microwave, I'm not losing too much sleep over the point thing.

I give points when I answer a question. If I waited until the questioner gave me points, I wouldn't have given out so many points.

I never even think about points I may get, (obviously). If I answer a question, I give points. I mean, if I'm going to answer, why not give points? Even if I disagree, I still give points if I answer. Sometimes I give points when I don't answer, (someone may have already answered like I would). It still seems weird to me for a question to have 20 answers, and only 8 points.

I answer the question I've selected and before I hit submit I go to the questioner and award points regardless. I then read through the answers and award interesting comments/answers. I then hit submit when I get to the end. I always award points to people who respond to a question I've submitted.

I give everyone points. If Im on the page, I'll give everyone i see points. Unless their answer is offensive or insulting in some way. Points are FREE after all, we should spread them around!! :))

I give points to all the good answers on the first page. If I'm really interested in the question, I go through a few pages.

I almost always give points as soon as I answer a question or receive an answer - I don't wait but sometimes on the occasions it slipped my mind them rating me reminds me to rate them.

When I answer a question I give it points at the same time. That is why I have so many answers that have never been rated. When somebody answers one of my questions I try to rate them straight away or as soon as I come on site. If I am off for a while and I mis answers I am very grateful if a person will point me in the direction. This new 5 page feedback means you can easily lose things if you are off a few days or months in my case.

One can give another member a hundred points without getting any penalty message. Thats what friends are supposed to do for friends. Spend one day giving points to all your friends. Good Luck with that attitude. Its fun to answer a string of questions for a friend. They in turn get answered by other members and the points add up all the way around. Generally one member has no idea who gives another member points. This game is about points.

I give points to those who answer my questions. When I answer a question, I give points to the asker if I get some kind of feedback that could have been from the asker (points or comments).

yeah me too! LOL i give points whether they have ask questions; got questions that might be to somewhat my expectations or whether they have answered the question or have not even answered the question yeah i usuallly comment them back or give them points for it, yeah good tip huh?

I give the points as soon as I ask the question.

I give the points immediately after I have posted the answer. The points I give are for the question I considered as a good one. It has nothing to do with the ratings that I might receive for my answer.

I Don't wait, I give points to almost anything I read, If makes me smile, or interests me, even if I don't agree with it. I only ever DR things that are very wrong. Now, Wheres my points!. . .HeHe
