Not really. It's a inside joke.
-
Not at all.
-
no, considering it's my name

I feel pressure to live up to the origin of my name! When people ask me what country my name is from, and I tell them ''it's Spanish'', they ask ''oh, so are you Spanish?''. I tell them no, and then they sigh and look remotely disappointed. Sometimes I feel I should lie to avoid this disappointment.

yeah...well...i don't know.
-
nopee my name has nothing at all to it!

Which name? My AB name? No

*Stands up* Hi my name is Kyle and I have had this problem for a very long time. *group says "Hi Kyle"* - lol Don't really know how to live up to my name.

Caz the Spaz? No, it's incredibly easy.

My last name is a really old Irish word meaning "people of the shire".... I don't think there is anything to live up to, really.... My first name is Old English and has something to do with beavers; yet I am oddly not so inclined to gnaw on any wood or go about damming up a river.... Do I feel pressured to become a beaver-person of a shire? no, not really. lol
-
Not really.
-
mmm, not really... My name doesn't mean anything : D If you mean like, my reputation or something, then no because it's an accurate representation of who I am anyway (for the most part - the bits that don't represent me are usually crazy negative things people make up)

My name is not famous. Although Psycho on AB thinks I am a celebrity of sorts, the reality is I am nobody special. The only one I try to please is my heavenly father and if he thinks my name is good, that is the best thing possible.

If it was my first name i would probably say yes there is pressure to -"help me Rhonda help help me Rhonda". And I realize what a worthy mission in life to help get "others" out of someone's head can be (LOL). But alas, it's the last name and mine is a color and it would be a little funny if I were able to live up to it. Fun question

I don't really feel any pressure to live up to my legal name. The only name that I feel pressure to live up to, is Mommy.
-
I share a lot.
-
I try not to think that there is anything to make me feel tense about as far as my name goes.

As I've already become the last hope for my family line and the chances of me having any kids at this point, much less a boy to carry on our part of the line of the family name, looks BEYOND bleak to say the least.

Sometimes - My grandfather is a prominent local business man, and it seems that the whole community knows who he is. I sometimes get asked, "why don't you work for your old man"? and I have to say that it's not what I wanted, not who I was. Everyone is ok with it, and I know they are proud of me, but I still sometimes feel the pressure. Great question :)

I have always tried to be respectable and wanted to be well liked but not because of my parents, just because that's how I feel.
