In my opinion the attitudes of some gorgeous men have quickly made them incredibly unattractive and the attitudes of some not so gorgeous men have made them the best looking people in the world. (Applies to women as well)

i think the word/thought of, ugly, is subjective. one might finds a man ugly but other might think the opposite. it really depends on the person.

I think beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. My bf is an a big hairy american winning machine(or at least that is his motto). I think you like what you like, and what a one woman may think is junk is another womans treasure. I think personality goes further anyway. I have dated all kinds of different men HOT, Hippies and not traditionally cute men. And what I found that looks are not nearly as important as a man that is super fun and outgoing. So again my motto is you like what you like.

My bf can be deemed "ugly" by media standards but also by media standards, I could be considered "Fat" for having womanly curves. I personally love the way he looks. He is a big guy and I love it. He didn't ask me out at first because he thought I was too pretty to want to be with a big guy. He thought I wanted either a skinny, pretty boy or a body builder.

What may appear to be ugly to you might be attractive to another. Good looks are pale in comparison to a kind heart, respect, honesty, pleasant personality, intelligence. These are some of the attributes I find more attractive than good looks.

I have known some really good looking men who becames really unattractive after I got to know them and some not very attractive men that just kept getting better and better. When you get to know someone, who they are inside becomes as much a part of what you see as their actual physical self.

Yes for sure some women find ugly men attractive, to me. But what do you consider ugly? Do you think Britney Spear's ex was ugly? Are women attracted to their features, money, or heart? If you find that man as ugly, than he must have a great personality, (according to other people). But to you he may be very handsome and have a great personality. Seek out what is right for you and hold on. Don't let that person slip away.

Yeah. Julia Roberts found Lyle Lovett attractive...well for a few months she did. Um. The answer is basically no and don't let them fool you into thinking it's yes. It depends what you mean on the word 'ugly'. I ind men who have a good sense of humour, charm and wit attractive, regardless of how they look. They are 'ugly' if they are obnoxious, rude, or simply think they are too good for you.

I've found that sometimes it's not all about the looks. But when you keep it real the 1st thing you see is NOT there personality. If the guy is someone you have known for other reasons, you might start to find other things about them that make him attractive. I have dated men who have not been the cutest, but one way or another they had it going on. Once again on the keeping it real tip. I don’t have kids. He can't be too ugly. I would like to have kids one day and he can't be a beast. I need my future kids to get married one day. :-)

Lets assume that he truly is, by all societal definitions, ugly. The "Adonis" is taught throughout his life that things will come easier for him, doors will open, people will seek him out. Many times basing his self-esteem on his appearance, leaving him shallow and superficial. The "ugly" man has to work harder for that same acceptance. He must develop more inward qualities like perseverance, commitment, sense of humor, determination, etc... It is these qualities which are attractive. Also, there may be less worry about infidelity with a less attractive person.

I personally think that there are no ugly people. I may not be attracted to someone but they might be irresistible to another person. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I haven't ever found an ugly man attractive before, but that is just the way I see it.

Define ugly? ... How you see something (whether it be a person, object, or whatever) is different from person to person. To you, someone may be ugly but to another they are beautiful, so i guess in your case, yes some women find 'ugly' men attractive.

totally agree with 4747, i dont see anything in tom cruise neither, never understood what that craze was about, am not saying hes ugly, but i dont see hows he different from just any bloke from the street, well, he looks normal(as in average)! yet, i heard people commenting how mr.bean is ugly, if thats considered as ugly? i find him quite cute honestly and would rate him higher on the attractive scale over tom cruise. least mr.bean has adorable big eyes(not squinty), strong masculine brows, and a neat nose, his lips are cute, too! *blush*

Also if a person is sweet, fun, loving..etc..then their physical features get overlooked and can even become quite attractive after a while. My mothers term for it is, "They grow on you"
