The karaoke club. I sing my brains out after a booster shot of liquid courage.

Depends on how upset I am. Usually I'll vent by telling my wife how bad of a day I had. If I really need to blow off some steam, I take it out on an 8x8in post on the porch.
-
I don't vent and I don't whine so...I'm usually only left with beating myself up.
-
Ummm, ... No. I transform stress and negative emotions into vitality ... it is part of a Taoist meditation method that laid the foundations for the inner structure of Tai Chi. (Buddhists also adopted this and their meditation methods are somewhat similar).

Myself.

I usually take it up with the person who has encouraged me to take these feelings on. I figure they have a share in the development of them and as such they can now have a share in dealing with them and assisting in their demise.
-
There are two kinds of upset for me..one based on dumb politicians so I take it out on them by yelling at them when they appear on TV and start spewing their spin mantras..the other kind of upset is personal and to be honest with you it is very rare..and occasionally I'll take it out on my honey and then profusely apologize..it's just because he was there, not because he was the cause. :)

I usually take it out on myself.

First, the perceived source of the offense. Second, myself for choosing to experience anger in the first place.

On a few ocassions when its too hard to deal with, I've been known to hit my head againest the wall a few times. In some sick way, I kinda "level off" after that. Hey, maybe that's why i'm on meds. I've done some crazy things in my life, but i'm totally harmless. If i was actually meet one of u guys, one problem i might have is shaking your hand. Other than that, I can be fun to be with.

-
I tend to take it out on the backdoor of my work place, it always helps to do that. better than getting physically violent and doing something that you might regret later.
-
I try to calm down...I may even come online and on here. I guess I take it out on myself for letting things get the best of me. Great question.

If I am REALLY upset, I take it out on a wall. After the last time I learned never to punch drywall! From now on it will be something harder like a solid wood door or something!!
-
Everyone around. Especially my mother and brother and friends. It could get pretty intense & bad too. I need t o learn to vent the right way...and not just send everyone to fuck off.

Whoever I am angry or upset with. I may "vent" my frustration to others, but it's never the same as taking it out on them.

My computer and god lol, out of all honesty, I argue with god a lot.

yes, i take it out on me. i usually hit my head so hard that i cannot feel it until afterwards. i rage with anger and feel like i cannot stop hitting my head. then i get angry at people and talk really mean to them. i cannot go to the Dr. for medicine to help or counseling because i do not have insurance. i am afraid of damaging my brain if i continue to hit my head so hard.
