thats a risky business... what if he can't do it? thats got to damage the masculine ego.
-
LOL , A little of both and it has worked so far + 5 Cute question
-
you get five too. no i havent its lame but been jars that where impossible for me to open which i had them do it.
-
That would be a rotten thing to do.
-
Great question, and very funny. My wife and I have a fun ritual when it comes to tough jars. She will try to open it, and if she can't, she'll ask me to open it. I'll open it just enough then close it again, and I'll say "sorry honey, I just can't do it", I'll give her the jar, and she'll say something like "let me show you you what a real man can do" and she'll open it. We both wink at each other, and smile.
-
My partner would probably crush the jar with his mighty, mighty man-hands. Running a jar under hot water works just fine :)
-
No I open them myself. If it's too hard I just hold it under some warm running water for a moment and it usually loosens it enough that it opens easily.
-
No, because he would know I was doing it intentionally. But my ex-boyfriend made about a third of the money I did. When we went out to his brother's bar, or anywhere where people knew him, I'd hand him the money before we got there, just so it would look like he was buying. Some people might have thought I was a golddigger because he was 19 years older and always "buying," but I cared more about him than them.
-
No. Only if he is right there and I can't get it open. Then he usually volunteers to do it. I can usually open a jar, even if it means taking a knife and using it to wedge open the side enough to let the vapor lock air out. That makes it really easy!
-
Sometimes I do stuff like that but I think my man knows that I am a pretty independent woman and that I can usually handle things like that on my own! LOL
-
I have no husband or boyfriend but I think I would. I think it's nice to make them feel of use even if it is as little as opening a jar for you.
-
No, but if I can't open it I will ask him. I stroke his ego in other ways:)
-
Oh yes !!! sometimes playfully !!! i like to see him smile later on !!!
-
Get this, when there is a jar I can't open I just ask my girlfriend to open it. You should see her. She's build like one of those brick s!@t houses. I don't mind being a wuss in this case, BUT JUST THIS CASE.
-
Yes, but only occasionally. I am amazed at how easily a male ego can be stroked. Even when I think the guy is gonna call me on something I say...they always eat it up....every time. i.e. You look like *insert name of celebrity* only you're better looking.....every time.
-
Uh this is simple. If I can't open it, I ask him and he usually can. I stroke is ego in natural ways. I don't have to fake it!
-
No.He is confident not only in his "manliness",but also in his "strongliness" ;)
-
Never. I like to open it so that I feel strong!
-
No, I only ask for help if I really can't open it.
-
Only if I can't. He is handicapped & needs an elbow & knee replacement. I show him by other ways that he his manly & strong. -___-
-
nope i have this really neat blue grippy thing that i got at the bank actually, every one should know the joy of a blue grippy thing.
-
NO as wew both have back problems so whoever needs something opened tried their darnedest to do it. If not, then we'll hand it over to the other. And I think that I always treat him in a respectful, manly way so he doesn't need extra ego pampering:-)
-
5-28-2017 Turn the jar upside down and whop it twice on the counter. Even a baby can take the lid off then.
-
I actually showed all my girlfriends how to open any jar with a fork. The secret trick passed down from father to son that ensures any jar in the world can be opened if strength alone cannot open it.
-
No but I've occasionally let men win at a game or competition.
