The Tarantula

Ones that are far away from me. I started to respond with "dead ones", but they are far too useful in pest control. They should be allowed to live, but not close to me.

NONE! I hate spiders, they look creepy tiny bodies with very long legs.

I like jumping spiders. There's several that live in my home that all have names and specific areas where they hunt. They are so smart! And I have fun taking close up pictures of them. Sometimes I catch a fly for one or feed them water. :o) They keep away fruit flies, which could be a big problem for me, seeing as I love wine so much.

Black Widows are very pretty.

Mexican red knee tarantula. They are very pretty, not particulary venomous, easy to keep in captivity and seem to symbolise spiders in general.

The dead kind. With all eight legs broken and the body squished flat, so it can't become a zombie spider and come after me.

This one was outside in our parking lot. Luckily I have a good macro setting on my camera.

Dead Dead Dead I'll gladly give up their bug control benefits if they didn't exist. I'd much rather deal with a fly. Flies don't give me nightmares. :-(

A MG Spyder, British racing green.

Wolf spider (also called a jumping spider). They will eat the bugs in your house but not spin webs to clutter up the place.

I love tarantulas. We used to have them around our home in California. They come out looking for lady friends in August and Sept. They were just so big and interesting. My husband would play with them and pick them up but I just liked petting them.

I saw the movie "Charlotte's Web" and fell in love with Charlotte..so whatever kind of spider she is, that's the one that would be my favorite! Of course, that would be true only if the other such spiders were as wise, loving and compassionate as was Charlotte! :)

I like those little black and white striped ones, they hop around so fast it looks like they're teleporting lol.

I love so many different spiders. wolf,black widow,jumpin,ogre,writin spiders. theres so many but they are all fascinating
