Recently the local paper FOIA'd the names and addresses of all gun owners in THREE counties. They then proceeded to post it on their website. They swear there's no agenda though...

Well, I'm a nobody, so the press respects my privacy just fine. They completely ignore me. :) For celebrities, I think it's inappropriate that the press follows them everywhere, trying to photograph and report on every aspect of their lives. These people are paid to entertain us, not to live under a magnifying glass. The press should limit themselves to press events; awards shows, movie premieres, book signings, etc. No one looks good under that much examination. Perhaps our celebrities could be better role models for the public if we just flat out did not know so much about them.
