  • The biggest theropods include T. rex, Spinosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Bahariasaurus, Giganotosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Epanterias, Allosaurus, Torvosaurus, etc. The biggest carnivorous dinosaurs lived during the Cretaceous period: * Giganotosaurus carolinii - found in Patagonia, Argentina. 47 feet long (14 m), 8 tons in weight, and 12 feet tall (4 m). * Tyrannosaurus rex - found in North America - 40-50 feet long (12-15 m), 6 tons in weight. * Spinosaurus - found in Africa - 40-50 feet long (12-15 m).   • I know the largest land-walking carnivorous dinosaur was the tyranosaurus, with it's 14 metres.
  • I think there is some controversy surrounding this question. As far as I know, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurs are all of a similar size (around about 15m).
