Satin? Maybe some long lost encounter in my fun past... but just do cotton now... easier to get stains out.... ha-ha-ha... oh....+3

Cotton. I always look like I've been in a wind tunnel full of static after I sleep on satin sheets.
-
cotton. I hate satin sheets. too cold and too slippery. IMO satin is better for dresses.
-
Cotton when its cold and satin when its hot.
-
I prefer cotton sheets, they are nice and cool.
-
Cotton can be comfortable as well and it is much easier to take care of.
-
I like very good/soft cotton sheets. Satin sheets tend to be too "Slippery" in my humble opinion.
-
cotton for sure! I bought satin and was surprised by how much ! hated them!! Too slippery - pillows flying off the bed & couldn't keep the sheets & blankets off the floor. Plus they cling to ya
-
I like cotton in the winter time and satin in the summer.

Cotton 800+ thread count.

EGYPTIAN COTTON.......Is the best I could stay in bed all day long naked with just the feel of it on my skin...but it has to be at least 400 thread count or better.

Cotton sateen sheets with a high thread count. Oh so comfy. :)

Cotton in the warmer months, flannel in the cooler ones (which is still technically cotton).

Egyptian cotton with a high thread count for me. (I had satin sheets years ago; they are cold, the bed never stays made correctly, and everything slides off including pillows & blankets.)

I am a cotton sheet snob. With my long, thick hair, I would cause an electrical storm on satin sheets.

Cotton. Satin is DANGEROUS (when used in conjunction with strenous physical activity)!
-
Cotton sheets; you slide around to much on satin!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of Comphy sheets. They really transcend any other line of bedding. Until now you could only get them in the gift shops at the Wynn, 4 seasons and Ritz-Carlton. You can now find them online. The best price I've found is at http://www.ruvalonline.com/index.html Anyone who thinks that thread count is a good indicator of quality needs to take a look at this http://www.linenplace.com/product_guide/... Or just do a yahoo search titled "the truth about thread count" and you will see that the entire industry is a joke when it comes to thread count. You can only fit about 350 quality fibers per square inch so anything over that is either a lie or they have seriously compromised the integrity of the fabric lowering the quality. Also this video on cotton really opened my eyes!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n39T35Ia_4
