  • Everything in Revelations. I don't think it is a valid book of the bible and should be removed. It's the work of a nut job in my opinion. Keep the rest because there are no other books that are absolutely insane.
  • One story (among many) that confuses me is the Noahs Ark story. Why did God want Noah to build an ark for the animals? He (supposedly) created the world in 7 days, why not just save Noah and his kin, then re-create the world. I cant even get a plumber to come out in 7 days, so for god it should be a cinch, as it would only take one day as all the other stuff was already created.
  • I think the bible is full of metaphors and was meant to be taken as so,and not as fact.
  • God got mad at Adam and Eve because they ate the forbidden fruit. If God knows everything that happened and will happen, why did he get mad because he knew from the beginning of times that it was going to happen?...and....he sent his "only Son", who happens to be himself and the Holy Spirit, all three into one, so he would "die for our Sins", because we carry the Original Sin and we need to be cleaned with his blood... That is 100% nonsense.
  • "Creation" and the "flood" and "Sodom and Gomorah", "Jesus", bascialy all that.
  • None of it. :) -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • all of it, example talking snakes 900 year old people burning bushes women turning to salt 2 of every animal on a boat all language coming from one source the location of heaven just beyond the stars the location of hell below the earths crust Flying babies virgin birth the resurection why we are supposed to "owe god" for jesus giving his life for our sins, only to know jesus was dead for 3 days and has loved ever since in paradise. How people can hope to live in paradise knowing love ones will be suffering for eternity. you need more?
  • the whole thing
  • most of what paul wrote. most of what john wrote. stuff that's been translated and retranslated to fit in with the times to make it easier for us to abide by. a lot about the trinity - o wait that's not in there - god having a "son" that's eternal when they say he was begotten - which implies it wasn't eternal. the belief that he had a son that christians worship when you're only supposed to worship one - the creator, but somehow that doesn't break the 10 commandments... i await the (-) points....
  • Most of Genesis, and a lot of Revelations.
  • ... all of it.
  • It would only make no sense if you jump around from one book to another. the bible has more then one book so take your time read it over and over then decide if it makes no sense. Plus you need to ask God to help you understand not just figure it out.Do it daily and believe me it will change your life!
  • the whole thing
  • 1 All the parts that have allowed people to argue for and introduce the concept of the trinity into religion after all the hard work done over thousands of years by eminent personalities like Noah, Abraham and Moses to establish strict monotheism. 2 All the parts that have allowed people to argue for and introduce into religion the concept of the original sin and its inheritance. 3 All the parts that are not Godly and the work of men.
  • Because the bible wasn't written by god! It was written by idiot humans! And Jesus was black! Blah blah blah!
  • Sense? Bible? good one!
  • there are some interesting stories ... othere than that i dont follow
  • All of it.
  • how sad for those to think it is the bible's fault they don't understand it. by the same token this question does't deserve an answer. it was not made out of a sincere desire to obtain an answer, but to ridicule God's Word. no wonder this person will never understand the very basic and simple truths the bible teaches, that even a child can understand.
  • it all makes sense to me..NOW ...didn't for many years...
  • The part between the first and last pages. People who think it is "the word of god" are just plain idiots. It may be a holy book representing peoples interpretation of what god told them, who knows? I personally doubt it. But there is no proof either way. One thing we know for sure is that it was written by PEOPLE! NOT GOD!!!
  • All of the Bible makes sense. Because the Bible has multiple authors, multiple styles, multiple themes, multiple purposes, multiple time frames, multiple situations, etc careful interpetation is critical. Parts of the Bible are absolute, parts are situational, parts quote people that the Bible does not approve of, parts express the opinion of man, parts express the opinion of God, parts of the Bible is fufilled prophacy, parts of the Bible are unfufilled prophacy, parts of the Bible are metaphors, etc therefore careful interpetation is critical. The Bible unlike any other book had been designed to make sense for people in every situation throughout the ages. So far, the Bible has definately stood the test of time. Paul says it best in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
  • Revalation Entire book about a Prostitute in Babylon
  • The Bible is a lot of things... Seemingly lacking if you don't read it correctly. But everything in it is confirmed somewhere else in it as a confirmation meant to imply that it is true due to its ability to back itself up as a viable part of history... Not just religion. It all makes sense. You're just not supposed to read it without at least trying to want to understand it. Most of it was written parable meant and written to "Confound the un wise."
  • The ones that a person hasn't studied very much about. Simple as that. how many books do you understand the first time you read through them?
  • The parts that have not been opened up to one's understanding. (Luk 24:31) And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. (Luk 24:32) And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
  • The part about making Man.
  • everything makes sense...with interpretation
  • the biggest fault of the christian bible is it doesnt name the creator. God is incomplete and not a name or a title. it is a space filler for people too lazy to ask and find out what His sacred Name really is. I refuse to worship a Capital G God. Jesus Christ is Greek and that makes the whole of christianity a Greek Religion. Yeshua and Yahweh have better roots and mean more than the Greek translation. Yeshua is a Jew, and he is not a christian.
  • A non fictional book can make no sense at all.
  • The last one is just flippin' weird.
  • oops wrong area
  • Sense pertains to logic, and the Good Book says outright that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, meaning that the problem is not the Bible but our perception of it.
  • Well, most is meant to be metaphorical, so it's not necessary for these stories to adhere to rigorous scientific testing 2K+ years later to provide a measure of comfort and guidance for some folks. ;-)
  • The regression of human nature it instills within the core context of its suggested morality. And that yet nobody seems to mind ripping each other's eyes out and loping off heads in the name of which prophet spoke what truth. Granted, that wasn't in The Bible, though it might as well be for as much of a book of massacres as it is.
  • Only the parts between the title page and the end of Revelations.
  • A great deal of it, unfortunately, especially the Old Testament.
  • all of it.
  • All of it.
  • Pretty much everything if you take it literally.
  • If the Bible makes sense to me or not, does not witness of the Bible's validity, it witnesses more of my capability to understand. If I only understand what is needed to obtain eternal life, then the rest will become clearer the further I get along this road of a saved person. When I was a child, most books of adult knowledge were totally nonsense to me. All that stuff of intercourse and pregnancy did not make any sense to me. When I developed myself,i got some more understanding of what was written in those books. Even now there are areas in economics and science that intrigues me a lot, but I would not be able to explain it to you. So I put it that the moment you start to believe, you grow spiritually and bit by bit the whole bible will come to life in your understanding.
  • Only those between the front and back cover
  • The part following the first page. +6
  • Oh! A part that goes from the words "In the beginning" en the book of Genesis and continues all through until the word "amen" at the end of the book of Revelations.
  • There are no parts that make no sense. it is the Word of God. If we don't understand it, it's our fault. The Bible makes perfect sense. All the new Creation Science information that has come to light in the past few years makes evolutionists frightened to have it taught in schools alongside the outdated notion of evolution. The evolutionists don't want debates because they can't win.
  • You just claimed to be humble and if you are that's good. Instead of doing good things to show someone the love of christ, why don't you do things for people to show them the love from yourself? Why do people choose to do things for christ when so many things need to be done regardless of christ. Christ is nothing but a character and people should be good to one another without having to read a book.
  • To me the part that makes no sense is the part that says in spite of what we have done God could still love us enough to send his beloved Son into the world to provide a bridge back to Himself. Without Messiah there is no opportunity for man to have fellowship with God. I think some of you have too high regard for who you are. You are the created, He is the creator and can do with you what He wills to do.
  • it all should make sense you have to look at it the right way alot of the stuff in it is symbolic. a way of describing things to people of that time, to understand alot of it i think you have to know alot about history. plus have a keen intrest to learn the truth and be willing to work to find the right answers.
  • all of it...
  • Only the ones between the front and the back cover. All others make perfect sense
  • The Virgin Birth and the Water into Wine, Noah, Adam and Eve and... and the Spacemen..no wait...that was Erich Von Daniken
  • Numbers...there are a few nuggets in there...but boy - all those "begats"... I know, I know, it shows the geneology of Judah...but SHEESH! Revelations is right up there too. Talk about a trip down the rabbit hole.
  • 99% of it!
  • steelhamster....i empathize, i KNOW exactly how u feel....did for about 10 yrs...i prayed hard for God to help me understand.... i think the 1st steps of my eye opening came when I studied vigorously to understand 2 very important messages John 1:1-3 and John 3:16 be careful some versions John 3:16 changed should to shall..loses whole meaning and John 1:1-3 in JW's book says "is a god"... pray and i will also, open ur eyes and heart...it is truly a HEART COndition with God..."Is thine heart right with God?" thats what this hymn is speaking of....may God send his Holy Spirit. amen keep reading for urself...
  • No parts at all. There may be parts of the Bible I may not fully understand but it does not mean they make no sense. May God give me the understanding when the right time comes.
  • I am sure many feel from the Judges to Kings and all the prophets are insane, not able to understand..and it is norm...these are the dealings of God with the Israelites..HE tries to keep them in line and Holy, as HE is until the Messaih is brought down...they were at times and totally in the end , a very unruly and hard hearted people that turned their back on HIM ...they had judges, decided they wanted an earthly king instead Of God as their KING even after all they saw and HE had done...but hey, they were humans and so are we.....the Bible makes no sense to some because they have not seen the "BIG PICTURE" ..I was the same way for many years...but every verse and story has a REASON...and for me, Beginning (genesis) to end (revelations) , it is the Savior...it is all in attitude and view points...keep reading , it takes years sometimes, before our eyes are opened or we HEAR, if we ever do......many will remain blind and deaf...as it was in the Bible..but as Jesus told each of the 7 churches in Revelations, "Let those who HEAR, HEAR." a good outlook: Old Testament is New Testament CONCEALED, New Testament is Old Testament REVEALED...it is simply NOT possible to understand the new without the old ,and vise versa...and Pray, HE will send the HS to help...it took me 15 yrs....and all of a sudden pieces of the puzzle started fitting and this was by myself ,my own reading and studying..the HS is truly out there!!!
  • All of it adds up to me. god helps me to understand what he thinks I need to understand.
  • Among others, Genesis 1&2. The two creation stories are not compatible, so which one are we supposed to believe?
  • FROM GENESIS TO REVELATIONS!!!
  • The part between the covers.
  • the part inbetween the cover.
  • I can speak only for myself. I think all of the Bible makes sense when read as a whole work and not cherry-picked bits and pieces like it's critics do to try to make their opinion more valid.
  • The bit between page one and page two thousand.
