How is it determined that an Answerbag user ends up on this weeks leader list? Is it to do with the amount of questions being asked or the answers received?

12/2/2025, both ways are helpful to get on the leaderboard. Even if users are not asking questions, they can still get on the leaderboard if their questions are being answered.

it must be the amount of answers each question gets for the week day or how ever its counted , I say this as long dead users appear on the leader board when some one answers one of their questions.

dalcocono I think that when those old questions are dredged up again, the site counts them as being asked. I answered 2 old questions and they appeared on the lineup as asked questions too..

I think it is solely by the number of questions one asks. I was on the leader board a couple times for asking 2 or 3 questions. I rarely ask questions. There are so few of us here now that nobody gets a whole bunch of answers on any new questions. 12/2/25

Yes. After I started looking the Q&A over when I finally got back it looked like there were only 3 or 4 consistently answering. That's why I think it's the amount of questions asked, regardless of answers given. -

I asked 3 questions yesterday, only 1 of them got an answer, and I am on the leaderboard once again. All it takes is asking a few questions with or without answers. Merry Christmas. 12/25/25
