the boys didn't think they were stealing they claimed they were tidying the place up. Scrap cooper prices must be up?
    • dalcocono
I don't know. A few years back copper theft was big business here in CA. Don't hear about it so much on the news anymore though.

for haha's .It gets better they have knocked off a module from the bms while tidying up. There was 1 per floor so there is plenty of room to upgrade when they lease each floor separately, they have reprogrammed all inputs on to 1 module and taken the other 2,. it controls the aircon lights security system ect. The way it was we can change all door access with a computer from some else for 3 different customers. On Monday 2 new customers are moving in. Now once you have access to the bms you can open any door on any level. it's mostly a storage warehouse

You live in a lowlife village

the excuse was the smoke was let out of 2 controllers when someone hit the old cooper pipes with a fork lift, they removed the redundant pipes fixed the bms cleaned up the area.

Ah then. R&R during remodel sounds like it's just collecting scrap then.
    • ★Stevo
they would of made an extra $3k for scraping the cooper. I only took us 3 months to notice.
  • Yes stealing copper in America is still a big thing going on
  • 5/9/2025, if it's not part of your duty, do not mess with it. Tell the manager. These days, there are cameras almost everywhere. And you don't want to be caught stealing copper.
    • ★Stevo
I probably am the onsite maintenance manager. I hired workers i looked at the cameras and the photos they sent me when i told our the boss to pay them
  • "Emm, what piece of copper piping? No idea what you are talking about?" ;)
    • ★Stevo
we got rid of a heap of redundant pipe work that was in the way of the fork lift ,if it was steel pipe I bet it would still be there.
    • ⭐️Creamcrackered
No idea what you're talking about I've no knowledge of the copper piping and if it was taken officer, I would never do such a thing :D Yes Stevo, people still collect copper for money.
    • ★Stevo
theres more redundant copper pipe thats lagged with Asbestos I should call them back, they were hired to tidy up the BMS wiring.
    • ⭐️Creamcrackered
Yes, you don't want to be messing with asbestos
    • ⭐️Creamcrackered
So you don't want the copper?
    • ★Stevo
no it was probably lagged with asbestos they could of charged us to remove it and taken the scrap. they took a false ceiling out and found it they weren't asked to take the ceiling out.
