it'll be too old and will break down why would you want such an old car? You will have fun finding parts when you need them. Why would you do it to yourself, get a second car and only drive the old lincoln on nice sunny days. I can always find something unroadworthy on every old car.

I think the luxury cars of that year were long low heavy boats. I drove a 76 Cadillac for a few years in the late 70's and early 80's and that's how it was. It was a mess in the snow and ice, and chains were really hard to install on it! 11/21/24
