Well in certain areas of the middle east Judaism and Islam is practiced in a purer form (closer to it's roots, Islam even more so as it's a younger religion and Hamas believes in jihad) in the Middle East, than Christianity, which is also descendent of Judaism but spread by Rome. The West is closer to Roman interpretation, where the King or President is a Ceasar like figure, and where riches and debauchery isn't as frowned upon, neither is science and rational, and philosophical thinking. along with the chasm between the rich and poor. You have Athena/Minerva on the Capital building who is the personification of wisdom, known by Freemasons as Pallis Athena the spearshaker. We still partake in most of the festivals including Satanalia. The thing about the West is you can choose your belief system, you can question it, in the Middle East, with Islam, there is more chance of being killed for doing so as laid out in the Hadith. Genital multilation is still practiced in the west despite Christianity not calling for it.
