Do you respond to people who answer your questions even though they go against your views or do you prefer not to respond to them at all?

I don't always have to respond, their view is their view,it's good if people respond either way, it's a Q and A site after all!

It depends if the are serious or just trying to provoke to get a reaction

I usually answer. Sometimes I just like but I'll usually like your answer just for participating on my questions. That doesn't neceissarily mean I like your answer. But when you're very active on here it can take all day to respond to them all, and since I don't get notifications anymore I don't even know if anybody's responded or participated. And when people are recirculating their questions, or a lot of people are participating at the same time, sometimes yours can get buried and no one sees it.
