  • The Spaghetti Western is a popular subgenre of Western movies from the 1960's and 70's. Despite that they are low-budget, they became successful. Spaghetti/Western films originated from the approach of Sergio Leone, which other Italian filmmakers picked up. Many Spaghetti Westerns were shot in the Spanish desert region of Almeria, Italy's Abruzzo, Sardinia and in Rome's Cinecitta Studios.

I know about Spaghetti Westerns. When I asked the question, I was joking hence it’s in the jokes category.

Joke or not, and regardless if it's in the jokes category: keep in mind that an answer given is not only for the questioner who asks the question, but for EVERYONE who is interested in learning a thing or two. Now by the way, hungry for spaghetti is a stereotype among Italians, but I am glad you mentioned spaghetti, being that Italians are very proud of their culture, families, World Cup titles, pasta dishes, wine and anything else that is Made in Italy. You say spaghetti, I say, enjoy it. :)
