How do you consider the law given in the Bible?
Is "advice" given in the Bible considered law/commandment? If not, what determines the line between recommendation and commandment?

The 10 commandments are The Law. All other commands, statutes, religious rituals, also represent following The Law, 10 commandments in action. TOH-rah, means, instruction, doctrine; (human and divine) law, direction, regulations, protocol; custom; it is transliterated Torah.

As a gentile Christian I am not subject to the Old Testament law of God. The old law is good for teaching only. As a Christian I am under the Law of Love. Matthew 22:35-40 in the Age of Grace. The Torah Law was for the Jew only and never the gentile. It was a temporary law.

its all bs as priests and members of the chuech don't follow them I have no respect for any church where does it say its ok to molest children which they do and cover up for molesters. All of it is in aid of controlling stupid people.

There's the law of Moses and then there is the Law of God - The Ten Commandments... The Mosaic law applies in Judaism, not in Christianity. Christians believe the law of Moses is a curse.
