  • Most people in the developed world get plenty of zinc. If you feel that you have a deficiency, consult with your doctor as this is more likely a matter of impaired absorption than a dietary issue. If you truly believe it is a dietary problem, if you like oysters, grab one of those and there you go - one oyster has about more much zinc than what you need for a day. If you don't like oysters, roasted nuts or beans tend to have lots of zinc, but it varies quite a bit depending on soil conditions.
