I own 22 Hyundai Santa Fe. It was manufactured in Alabama. While the company is Korean, a lot of manufacturing and jobs are in America. With that the lines get blurred on what's domestic or foreign. It's a mix for each company. Ford has plants in Mexico for example and then it's sold here. A lot of cars have same parts regardless of make -- same brand of tires, sam battery brand, same chip manufacturer and airbag manufacturer, etc etc There is no car company that has everything foreign or everything domestic. That's just not true anymore. Part manufacturing is a mix

A domestic vehicle to me would be foreign to you and vice versa. I drive a VW built in Slovakia so foreign to us both but domestic to a Slovakian.
