Do you see the statements about pneumonia and influenza? Neither pneumonia nor influenza are "pandemic"-worthy viruses that need daily statistical updates. Their occurrences have been documented for over a century with such accuracy that the annual severity of their "seasons" can be predicted quite easily. And neither has ever reached "pandemic" status. Their inclusion on this page is specifically intended to artificially maintain high Coronavirus daily totals. The CDC openly admits using them for such. Without these comparatively non-deadly pneumonia and influenza statistics, the numbers for the Coronavirus would never stand on its own merit. The seasonal occurrences for both pneumonia and influenza have dropped well below any previously documented seasons during the period, which indicates that their totals are not accurate, either.
