I don't remember debating different makes of cars and trucks. I do remember being in debate class in high school. Class was officiially known as Problems in Democracy"

Our school debates were about nuclear energy, birth control, and other political/social issues. I don't recall anyone ever holding a formal debate over Chevy vs. Ford.
