Why do people think YouTube is considered social media
There’s nothing social about making and watching videos therefore YouTube isn’t social media.

It is social media because people are sharing their music with others.

Social: adj. relating to society. Media: n. the main means of mass communication (broadcasting, publishing, and the internet) regarded collectively. Youtube is a society of amateur and professional video broadcasters found on the internet. What could be any more social media than that?!
