The last one is not much of a disincentive to ending such suffering since cancer is not communicable. Neither is the first one, but it is a selfish gain. Primum non nocere. I vote for the vaccine.

bostjan the adequate 🥉Actually, cancer is a wide range of conditions, some of which are communicable (via viral vector), and some of which are not. What's more, is that most cancers are (not caused, but) enabled by genetic conditions that can be altered (theoretically) by gene therapy issued by synthetic viral vectors.

mushroomIn that case, "a vaccine that prevents cancer" seems too generic to be of much application. I thought this question was more on the philosophic level.
