Quote: "For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God." You are taking Scripture out of context. Hebrews 3:4 is not saying all things including corruption are built by God. If you further read Hebrews chapter 3, verse 6, it is talking about God's house who is The Temple of the Holy Spirit. Hebrews 3:6 "But Christ is faithful as the Son over [God's house]. And we are [His house], if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory. 1 Corinthians 6:19 "Or do you not know that your body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,"
  • Man creates things through Ego and not God.

  • I'm pretty sure that I built the deck in my back yard. He didn't even run to the store when I needed more nails. I had to do that by myself also.

Good try. But without him you could do nothing. That is in the Bible dude! Thanks for trying.

John 15:5 says: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

We cannot take one breath, or our heart beat one time without him..

Not to diminish your faith, but it's not the same as mine. God puts a path in front of you, he won't walk it for you. That, you do on your own. Which is why I drove to Home Depot for nails on my own. And if I had decided to crash my car through the front door, that would have been a decision on my own as well.
    • Cry me a River
My faith is not in God because of what man does or says. It is in the word of God itself.

And mine says something different. You're sounding a lot like Obama's, "you didn't build that" speech.
  • God created the Earth, but mankind invented technology from the first tools made of stone and wood to what we have now in 6/3/19 to speak for my answer. The Bible declares that man's knowledge is limited. (Proverbs 30:2-3) This is why emissions, harmful elements, global pandemic, system collapse, internet glitches and etc exist.
    • Cry me a River
The only thing you said that is in scripture is that God created the earth.

Man does not have any knowledge on his own... what God did give to everyone is the same measure of faith. It,s what each does with it that makes the difference or not.

Quote: "The only thing you said that is in scripture is that God created the earth." Uhh, I did not quote Scripture in regards to God creating the Earth. Do not bear false statements. Exodus 20:!6 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." I said God created the Earth as every fundamental believer knows that. The only thing I added is a proverbial passage.

Colossians 1:16-17 only contradicts the malfunction of mankind's inventions. What God creates is Holy and perfect, and not what mankind has said to be true to deny the existence of God.

Quote: "Man does not have any knowledge on his own." If this was the case, then either God or mankind brought pandemics, epidemics and outbreaks to the world. Quote: "what God did give to everyone is the same measure of faith." Faith is based on the absence of data. Science investigates the natural world, while Religion deals with the supernatural.
    • Cry me a River
Wow, your faith is in your own ability and man,s ability to understand on his own.
    • Jenny's Gone On Vacation
Not everyone shares the same faith. There are roughly 4200 religions worldwide. If everyone had the same ability to understand on his own, Religion wouldn't be dividing people into separate groups.
