  • You'll need a heck of a powerful laptop for Premiere. Better off saving that money for a decent GTX and an SSD.

  • I doubt you'll get far with Premiere on a $400 laptop, but I suppose you'll have to make do with what you have if you don't have an upgradable desktop PC.
