That's not the purpose of a smartphone. Technology is not there to make anyone smarter or dumber - it's there to alevate a job or burden.

I have to say my own number a few times to remember it. Learned that in school from a teacher. The smart phone of mine right now have to using my tablet my computer is in the shop.
