• I see your point. Between that and doctors prescribing unstructured play time to help increase brain development in young children, it is evident that many kids are not interacting enough with their parents. Society is depending on nannies and schools to teach basic psychological techniques like self-soothing, self-motivation, work ethic, sense of accomplishment, etc. Parents are the only ones that can prevent the next generation from being emotionally dysfunctional. (Deuteronomy 6:6,7, Pro 1:8, Pro 4:1, Pro 6:20,Pro 13:1, Pro 13:24, Pro 15:5, Pro 22:15) Stress management is a learned behavior, children learn from cartoons, video games, YouTube and other children. If this college course prevents tragedies, then it’s worth it. We can’t force parents to do what is in the best interest of their children so schools make them pay tuition for lessons that should have been learned AT HOME.

But what the hell happened where now they have anti-stress classes? This generation is more f*cked up than ever before. We didn't need stress classes, safe spaces and trigger warnings! And we watched the Road Runner defy the Coyote, who got his ass kicked every Saturday morning. Now, that's too violent for kids. Those same kids who sit and play Fortnite for hours on end and learn their socialization skills from Snapchat and Facebook. And don't even get me started on the entitlement complex.
  • Stress is at epidemic proportions! And it can make people sick... and sometimes flip out! I think its a good idea. But you have a point, why is everyone so stressed? I think people care too much about what others think. And I think Lizzy is dead on. Children need parenting that's not taking place because all the parents are working.

WTF do you have to be stressed about when you're in school?? It's called life! Get used to it. That's what these damn kids need! A friggin' slap of reality. They need to learn that no one gives a shit about their feelings. When they get into the real world and get a real job, the only thing the boss is gonna care about is whether or not they're doing their damn job. Seriously? An anti-stress class that causes too much stress??
  • thats weird
