  • Not generally speaking, but God was the one who pointed out Job, and let Satan mess with him! Have you read the book of Job? Would you like for me to get you a link so you can read it online?

I appreciate your offer, but I have read the book of Job,and I have two Bible's I can read it from. :) Thanks Ms Joy.

Yeah,Satan messed with Job quite alot. I feel like the female version of Job.

I never compared to Job. I doubt, I succumb to evil, and I was never blessed with all that Job possessed to begin with.

I never looked at it through every little detail like that, just the overview.
  • Jehovah God does not 'deal' with Satan...EVER (Revelation 20:10) And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulfur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet already were; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. This has yet to happen, but it gives insight into Jehovah's thoughts on the matter.

You need to re read Job! Job 1:8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, ...

I HAVE READ JOB... Jehovah does not ask irrelevant questions...Jehovah was stating that Job would stay loyal regardless of the pressures put upon him by Satan...because Satan had stated that Job would fail without Jehovah's support...So Jehovah removed that support...to prove that Job had integrity...the BIG picture must be looked at...

That is what I was thinking. The BIG picture. Thanks, guys.
  • No, self interests provoke people to do unethical or immoral things, "The devil made me do it" was a joke.
  • i dont think so
  • No, if this was the case, God will be leading people into temptation. Instead, we are "tested" by Satan, and then rewarded by God when we endure trials. James 1:12 "Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him."

Thank you so much for your point of view. That makes sense! :)

No problem. Keep asking more religious questions. :)
  • No God would not ask for evil. God just gives Satan and the people who follow him free will for now. Eventually God will end it..It's a test.
  • Jehovah God can do no wrong...He would not ask anything of Satan. (Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him:
  • No, God does not ask Satan to do anything. Satan is God's enemy.
  • i dont think so
