  • have no idea
  • They are not that stupid to do an action that would point so easily to Russia. The warmongers are chomping at the bit. Also it is a diversion from their domestic issues and corrupt politics. Same in the US. They don't want a populist uprising, so blame an "enemy" while removing civil liberties of the people, UK people and US people etc etc... in the name of national security.

I'm not suggesting the Russians are stupid, but they are not worthy of trust and should never be underestimated. Putin is brazen and believes the rest of the world is stupid, and that he can get away with anything by using disguises, lies and denial in the face of proven truth. They shot down a commercial airliner over the Ukraine, and denied it. When faced with the proof they lied and said it was the Ukrainians. The Ukrainians never had possession of that type of weaponry. When they invaded the Crimea they said it was to protect the citizens. That was a lie too. Putin wanted a deep port on the Black Sea and to regain a territory that had previously been stolen from the Ukraine and then given back at the end of the U.S.S.R. , it also gave him a strategic position to threaten the rest of the Ukraine and other old soviet controlled countries ( which he would also dearly love to have back in his possession). When they invaded the Ukraine itself they said it was a humanitarian relief mission to feed the poor starving people. That was a lie too. Not one civilian got so much as a piece of bread because it was arms, ammunition and supplies for the Russian invasion forces. The Russian soldiers were ordered to disguise themselves as rebels by removing all Russian military insignias. Putin still denies that there was ever any invasion and when the mothers of dead soldiers inquire about the loved one who stopped writing home ... they're told their son died in an accident, or some other lie, and the fighting is still going on ! The Russian mob (gangsters) are still alive and well. But these days instead of working on their own .. the government (Putin) controls & has them working for him and quietly doing his dirty work so he can keep control with his hands clean and deny any involvement. If you oppose him sooner or later something bad happens to you. When the gangsters don't do what they're told .. their dead bodies come floating down the river full of knife or gunshot wounds. No investigations are done. Are you starting to see a pattern here ? The people are ruled by an iron fist and live in fear. The election that was just held was a glorious farce. Putin was declared the winner by 75% of the vote. Gee, I wonder how that happened ? Back to the subject of this poisoned ex spy and his daughter. I have no trouble believing it was done by the Russian mob. Putin could , and did deny he had anything to do with it, and if the mobster got caught, Putin could say it was the act of a criminal who had escaped justice - no blame on Russia. The spy had written to Putin, beforehand, asking for permission to come home for a visit so he could see some old friends and family. That would have been an insult to Putin, and I guess the ex spy got his answer. This is not the first time Russian ex spies have been assassinated on foreign soil and the perpetrator(s) vanished into thin air. Putin denied any involvement then too. The other thing to remember is that the Russian mob has long arms... that reach all the way into the heart of North America. And they are nasty.

That's an odd name for a knight. So tell us Sir Will Suffice, have you slayed many dragons ?
    • we are dough 68
The six Komodo Dragons on my island are pretty tough to catch, what with my bunions and athletes foot problems. And slayed is the wrong word. I prefer to call it "serviced" . And only the two females so far. For some reason they keep well away from my camp.
