What does "pulp" mean in this context?
Acceleration is rather sluggish despite the CVT working overtime to squeeze every inch of pulp at wide open throttle.

7-16-2017 Pulp is a soft wet mass, or a cheap book where the paper is made from pulp. AFAIK it does not apply to constantly variable transmissions.
