    By this definition I'm no gentleman - but I'd disagree. Anger doesn't negate other gentlemanly virtues.

      Driving them out with a makeshift whip. Good reference for this Q.

      this was not a moment of anger. It was premeditated he actually made the whip. It was a simple cleansing of the Temple. Not that anger is wrong God got angry. But I think they both acted on their anger through insight. Now that I've done what you requested, let me also clarify that I never claimed to believe this quote.

      Anger is a habit, a learned behavior. You have to learn what situations justify anger and how to act in each situation. Anyone can learn to control anger by taking acting lessons. Being a gentleman is a separate subject.
