  • I know that sucks. My new jeans and favourite jersey got stolen of our Washing line in our complex. I saw the person that stole it and worst off all it is not something that is freely available in South Africa. I ordered it online. What is the chances someone in my complex could have ordered the exact same jersey and jeans?
  • Happened in boot camp all the time. Recruits would steal the parts of their uniforms they lost or destroyed from the other recruits. By the end of boot camp you had a hodge podge of other peoples clothing.

Didn't matter. They would put the entire pile on the floor in the middle of the bay and announce that everyone had 5 minutes to find their garments and return to their bunks. If a recruit was unable to locate something he'd grab the item with someone elses number on it rather than return to his bunk with a partial set.

At graduation I caught one recruit going through my clothing bag looking to steal my tie clip. I made him leave but after the ceremony I discovered that my graduation ring was missing from that clothing bag. He stole it while looking for the tie clip.
  • Not that I recall, but someone did throw a Molotov cocktail in the back of the truck on the way home from the laundromat. We had already washed dried folded them, put them in the basket and they burned up. New clothes I'd gotten for Christmas.
