Can I take the 5 days before your period pregnancy test 2 weeks after my period?

So I bought a pregnancy test that you take 5 days before your period to see if you're pregnant but I had my period the day after I bought it. So is it okay to use 2 weeks after my period or do I have to wait until my next expected cycle
