We were given a Disney vacation a couple years back, and from my experience, Epcot was a full day, and fun. We stay right until the fireworks. If you get to Disney World and MGM Studios around when they open, you will probably be bored around dinner time.

Hello MamaBee, We too are a family of 5. We have it planned to have 1 day for each park, except Magic Kingdom and MGM. MGM may only take half a day if the kids are young, it was enjoyable to me and my son, but the girls got bored fast, so we took half a day on that. Magic Kingdom actually took us more than 1 day. Long lines and TONS of stuff for the kids, we had park hoppers so we went to Magic Kingdom, marked down what we wanted to come back and do, and did those things the second half of the day (picking up after visiting MGM in the morning). The whole family enjoyed Epcot... Buy the kids the passports at the front of Epcot at the little stands or gift shops and at each Country they can get a stamp and little writing from that country and complete the collection, they also sometimes have stations for the kids to do some art related to that country. I love Mexico... Go inside the Giant Pyramid, its beautiful in there. Make your lunch and Dinner reservations for any sit down restaurants NOW if you haven't already, otherwise you will have long waits just to eat if you want to sit and eat. I have not been to Animal Kingdom for many many years, I hear there is a lot more than when I first went. We have slotted a day for that as well. We also schedule a day for Downtown Disney and walking through the stores and shops there, we have a day for that as well. If we need more time at the parks, you can eat into that shopping morning. You can pretty much find anything you want at Downtown Disney that is Disney related... so hold off on buying your souvenirs in each park unless you are sure they don't sell it at Downtown Disney. Heck of a lot easier than dragging bags of stuff on rides and all over the park. BTW, I tweaked your avatar for the trip. You like?... EDIT: It seems to be screwy with the attached graphics...
