Is it better to be the oldest or the youngest sibling? Or middle? Why?

I don't think any is better. They all have their pros and cons.

Once again, i think it depends on the person; what they like/what they are like, the attention they want, their leadership roles or lack their of. I'm the youngest child, but not spoiled or given too much attention. I'm also a first born though because I'm the only girl. I personally like my position in the family (lately, I used to hate it), despite being last for sodding everything.

I would prefer to be in the middle. In this case I would have at least an elder brother and an elder sister as well as at least a younger brother and a younger sister. I think my life would be more balanced in this way.
