If you used Paypal to pay for the transaction and don't get your money back as promised, Paypal will mediate for you. Use the dispute resolution console on Paypal's main page to guide you through the process. This has worked very well for me - I got my entire expenditure back when a product I got wasn't as advertised. I think ebay also offers a resolution system, but Paypal's is great. If the seller has a good ebay history (several years as a member)and a high feedback percentage (I'd say 95% or higher) you can probably trust that they will do as they promise. But keep those emails. And remember to leave feedback so that other buyers are informed and can avoid problems with this seller if things don't work out.
