!994 Ranger Check Engine light On but goes of after driving a few miles.Have changed plugs,wires egr,egr sensor,air charge sensor.Checked 02 sensor reads good. any ideas

I have the same problem with my 94 ranger. i took it to a mechanic to have it checked out. They told me that the there was a voltage that reads just a tad bit to high after running it for so long. i have taken 5-6 hour trips many times with this problem and never has it caused any problems. it usually comes on about two hours after travel. i also had the chance to have it on the autobahn in germany. i would run it at least 85 mph and sometimes up to 110 mph and never had any problems after the check engine light came on. hope this helps.
