  • But is the coverage simply responding to what people want to see? I believe that people are attracted to violence, and thus want to see it on TV. The news channels simply follow our trends and try to keep the news entertaining.
  • I would have to say that is the public in general that has the "taste for blood". The public lead the media to feed them more, and we (as a public) are only now realizing that the media is over feeding us. Sort of a "leap frog" effect.
