We had a huge wind storm last night. Somehow the wind took a roll of the paper stuff you put under the shingles of your roof (we just had it patched), rolled it around from the back of the house and it wrapped itself around the mailbox by the street. Bizarre.

I don't know if it will help much. It's not much warmer here and the snow we got has turned mostly to black ice. (((HUGS))) La Niña's out there in the Pacific BIG TIME this year, so expect it to be colder and snowier than usual across much of the US. But El Niño is expected to return strong in 2010 and we will then probably see the warmest year since records have been kept.
