Fresh, and preferably, in season and local if I can find it. The only thing I use frozen is peas to add to some dishes like fried rice or pot pies. I do use canned tomatoes (Red Pack and Tuttorusso brands) for many dishes and I also use artichoke hearts in the jar.

In exactly that order. Fresh is best, frozen is the next best thing (especially if it came out of your own garden) and canned when there is no other choice. +5

Mostly fresh except for peas, beans and corn. I can eat those from a can. Frozen I can do with just about any vegtable. But I try to get fresh as much as possible.

Mostly fresh, but I also use a lot of dried stuff for soups, such as dried lentils, barley, rice, etc. I use canned crushed tomatoes in my sauces. I almost never use frozen veggies.

I like to get on my hands and knees and graze directly from the garden...it's more....NATURAL.
