Time is the only thing.

Here the Bee Gees have the answer.

Other Love ALWAYS mends a broken heart, they all say. And when Love is not available, Family becomes your answer.

Alcohol, and lots of it. Does the trick for me.

It will just take some time to get back to normal, and have an all together perfect heart again. I'm sure that whatever cause it, didn't just happen overnight, so it will not get back to normal overnight either. It just takes time, and patience..

Just being happy with your life! Be greatfull that you realized that it wasn't right and not waisting your energy and emotions on something that wasn't gonna work anyways! Look forward to a better life. Why be sad about something that wasn't good for you right?
-
Alcohol? +3

Time and the support of your friends. Keeping yourself busy with other things is helpful too.
-
Crazy glue and the love of a really good man/woman. The glue is optional. There really is the (almost) perfect person for all of us out there. You just have to open yourself to the the world and not be afraid of being hurt. Like riding a bike! Get back on.

A great heart surgeon. Of course if he is single, fun and good looking you can skip the surgery. :)

It depends on how it was broken. If it was because you fell for omeone who wont return your love you need to realize that as much as you may want to you can not make someone love you if they don't already feel it in their heart. Thee faster you accept that the faster your heart will mend. If it was broken by someone who cheated on you the fastest way to mend is accept that it wasn't your fault that they cheated and know you are a lot better off without a loser like that in your life. If it was broken as is my case by the death of the one you love that is a heartbreak that is nearly impossible to mend. I lost my baby one year ago this past Saturday and the heartache I feel is still unbearable. I wish God would just let me die already because going on without her is just too much for me to bear. They tell me it will get better and that one day I will wake up and life will go on as it once did. They tell me I will learn to love yet again and how I have to remember the happy times and know that she would not want me to stop living my life. I hope they are right because all I want right now is to die so I can be back in her loving arms again.

Go out on alot of dates. Start some new hobbies. Write your feelings in a journal. Call up your exes. Ask alot of guys out. Spend time with guy friends. Travel. Find a New boyfriend you love. Get married. Forget and forgive. Send hate letters to him. Or tell him/make a list of his faults. Why did he dump you?
-
Having good friends around to make you feel good about yourself, meeting new people, and time.
-
I don't think a broken heart ever totally gets mended, but time and a new love interest are pretty good remedies.
