only, and i mean ONLY if youve have given the permission before hand, like "please, my home is your home, make yourself comfortable, and get your own damn beer lazy ass.."
-
I wouldnt ever, but when people come into my house theyre welcome to raid the fridge, do laundry if need be whatever. But if all my mountain dew goes missing in one day i get a little hacked off.
-
Well my dad seems to think it's alright and i have started to do tht to my friends. I do it just to see their exprecions when i am munching down on their cake of muffins XD It's okay as long as the other person can take a laugh or if its a Family memeber.
-
I wouldn't do that myself..but if the person doesn't mind I guess its ok..
-
I wouldn't do it. Guess I wouldn't care if my friends did.
-
Sorry keithold but in my house, anything other than water and you risk getting something cut off.
-
I think that taking stuff out of someone's fridge is way out of line--especially when I am being entertained as a guest in their home.
-
I have a saying " My fridge is your fridge" i like people to feel happy and welcome enough to feel at home in my home so i don't mind at all. But on saying that i only do it with family members:) +5
-
I wouldn't.
-
Not at all
-
Only if you put your 24 pack of beers in there an hour before :)

There are very few things I possess that I am not willing to share without condition. You are more than welcome to help yourself to anything in my refrigerator. Not everyone feels this way, though. So, I am going to answer yes, because the alternative would be that it is never okay. And that is clearly not the case ;)

No, it's bad manners. I was acting as a "sponsor" for someone new to an overseas community, and let her stay with me her first night. I went to get the last of the milk the next morning and wondered aloud where it was. "Oh, I used it for my cereal", the lady said. If she'd asked, I'd have said yes, but this was rude!!

I sure hope so, I do it at my brothers house all the time. And my mothers house. When someone comes over my place, they can have whatever theyd like. I think its bad manners not making someone feel comfortable in your home.
-
No, that's pilfering.
-
Depends on your relationship with the fridge's owner. I may not do it at a friend's house but I will in my parent's house, etc.
-
I wouldn't, except at my mom's house. But everyone likes to raid my fridge! Especially when my nieces and nephews come over.
-
No, unless it's a time bomb, or a marauding hobo.
-
Yes, they would be quite thankful for the icepack one has taken out in order to apply to their head-concussion when they smacked themself on the corner of a countertop. :)
-
No. It is never ok. You show disrespect if you go into their homes and act like you own it. If you need something from the fridge, ask them to take it out for you.
-
NO, I almost drank his bottle of diluted heroine,Thank God,he caught me
